    I recall seeing the Doco on SKY - fascinating. And then they had plans to build a bigger one that could cross the Atlantic and drop a nuke... Terrifying to think what might have happened had the war lasted a couple more years...

      Amerika Bomber. The Horten Bros. were working on this concept by the time the Ho 229's 3rd prototype took to the air. The war could have taken a completely different direction had the Ho 229 and Amerika Bomber been produced in quantaties.
