In German there is two dots (umlaut) on the a.
When written in English, or you don't have access to the umlaut due to restrictions in typing,
such as on Blogger, an "e" is placed after the "a".
Writing it as Falschirmjager is incorrect.

You can get the umlaut from the characer map in windows; startbutton/programfiles/accessories/systemtools/charctermap... select copy and paste. Fiddly but do-able...
